Rhythm

Dysfunctional

I see you on and off, Mostly off, Your bipolar nature Makes me want to lock you up in a loft.

There’s some heat
Spreading to my thighs;
I move you around
Five minutes in,
And I’m all sighs.

I tap you
I slap you,
Then I roll my eyes;
I curse under my breath
I say my goodbyes.

I see you on and off,
Mostly off,
Your bipolar nature
Makes me want to lock you up in a loft.

In the end,
I always come back to you anyway.
But to anyone who asks,
“I should have gone for the Lenovo instead”
I say.
